May News

May 2019
First off we have to congratulate Irene for winning two golds at a prestigious world-wide marmalade making competition. You can buy her produce at our village market. I have to say that the marmalade is something special and the chutney is pretty damn good too.

Lots going on at the Stute in May. Voting for the local elections is on Thursday the 2nd and because of this the Coffee Morning has been moved to Friday 3rd . There is a race night organised by the Cricket Club on Friday evening the 10th phone 07712 193829 for tickets. On Saturday evening the 11 th Oak Fest are running an Irish Ceilidh tickets

April 2019
Special thanks yet again to Roy for his donation of spring plants for sale at the March Coffee Morning.

We have another music night on 6th April. The Flaky tarts are back with their own special blend of Folk, County, Blues and Rock. They are a two-pieceacoustic  band so the music will not be too loud. Bring our own snacks and refreshments. Doors open at 7.30pm the gig starts at 8.00pm. Tickets from Linda Kirtley £8.00 on 07854 718628 or email
Not much else to say except we are looking to buy some new round tables and our A.G.M. is in May.
